Coffee on the Quarter: Strengthening Families

Engaging in a lively discussion over coffee at the quarterly meeting, sharing ideas and insights around the table.

Dr. Lisa Carlisle, Chief Program Officer, introduces the discussion.

One of the unique ways that Catholic Charities helps families in Contra Costa County is with our Family Preservation program. Supporters and program leaders gathered to take a deeper look at this work and its impact during our May 15 Coffee on the Quarter.

Parents are referred to Catholic Charities by Child Protective Services. Families then begin working closely with our experienced case managers to strengthen the family and improve child well-being. With the right tools, training, and professional support, families can meet their goals and children stay safely in their homes.

Join us at our next Coffee on the Quarter on September 18. Registration will open later in the summer.

Fraud Alert: Be cautious of outside parties requesting personal information or payments for services claiming to be from Catholic Charities. Always verify by contacting your local Catholic Charities directly or visit one of our locations in Oakland, Richmond, or Concord.
