Catholic Charities East Bay is grateful to everyone who joined us for our Love in Action Gala on Saturday, September 12, at the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland. The evening brought together donors, community leaders, employees, volunteers, and friends of Catholic Charities East Bay to celebrate the power of community and the difference we can make when we put Love in Action.
Together, we raised nearly $400,000 to support critical services for individuals and families across Alameda and Contra Costa counties—including stable housing, immigration legal services, and mental health support.
At a time when many of our neighbors are facing housing insecurity, rising costs, and other challenges, this support is more important than ever. Every contribution helps Catholic Charities East Bay meet people at critical moments, connect them with essential resources, and help them move toward greater stability and security. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this evening possible and to our community of supporters who continue to stand with our neighbors across the East Bay.
