Bikes for Christmas are always a hit!
On December 13, Catholic Charities East Bay welcomed 135 families and 260 children to our annual Joy Bells celebration—an afternoon filled with Christmas magic. Children enjoyed photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, festive crafts and treats, and the excitement of opening gifts chosen especially for them.
Families are nominated for Joy Bells through Catholic Charities case managers, community partners, and parishes. Our case managers work closely with each family to understand their needs and create personalized wish lists for their children. With the help of generous donors, volunteers, and community partners, those wishes are brought to life—ensuring every child experiences the joy, dignity, and hope of the Christmas season.
