On a warm afternoon at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Concord, community members gathered for Catholic Charities East Bay’s Neighbor to Neighbor Luncheon, an event focused on connection, conversation, and building stronger relationships throughout the East Bay.
Guests shared a meal together and learned about the many programs and services Catholic Charities East Bay provides to individuals and families facing challenges across Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear about the organization’s Parish Ambassador Program, which helps connect parish communities with resources and opportunities to serve their neighbors.
The luncheon reflected Catholic Charities East Bay’s commitment to meeting people where they are. With offices in Oakland, Concord, and Richmond, the organization works throughout the East Bay to ensure that individuals and families know they have a place to turn for support, guidance, and hope. Events like the Neighbor to Neighbor Luncheon create opportunities not only to share information, but also to listen, build trust, and strengthen the sense of community that makes local neighborhoods thrive.
