Volunteer
Catholic Charities of the East Bay offers community members a range of volunteer opportunities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, in the service of those in need.
Become a Volunteer
To become a volunteer, please:
- Evaluate what type of volunteer position you would like by identifying areas of interest, the skills or talents that you would like to bring to your volunteer experience and the amount of time you would like to give in service.
- Determine the location at which you would like to volunteer. Catholic Charities has many sites in both Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Not all programs are housed at every site.
- Submit an application either on-line, by phone or in person.
- Be available to attend an orientation about Catholic Charities of the East Bay.
- Be accountable for the time you have offered to volunteer.
Since volunteers give the gift of service, we try to place you in your choice of work. We are very flexible within the Monday - Friday workweek, but do not typically work evenings or weekends.
