Healing and Help Amid Violence

Oakland, CA, June 8, 2012 - An article that showcases how the Crisis Response and Support Network at Catholic Charities of the East Bay helps the families of those that have fallen victims to violence in Oakland. A team of 10 Counselors and Social Workers that might be called the city's second responders, and that spring into action whenever a murder occurs in Oakland, providing emotional support, assistance with funeral arrangements, help with applications for victims compensation funds, and providing whatever other emotional and physical help the families need for as long as they need it.
