Position Summary: The Manager of Information Technology manages the agency-wide Information Technology, Information Systems, and telecommunications functions including computer operations, applications and systems programming, information/technology security, and data/voice networks. The Manager of IT analyzes agency and departmental or project needs, and designs a systematic strategy to address those needs; sets budgets, monitors and controls costs within approved budget parameters. S/he also manages technical support and help-desk functions, performs implementation and projects of a technical nature, and carries our higher-level technical activities. S/he identifies staff training needs, develops and implements training to enhance computer skills throughout the organization. The Manager of IT is responsible for planning, testing, and maintaining IT systems for business continuity and disaster preparedness.
Current Windows Server administration experience (Active Directory and Group Policy administration) is required. Current VMWare vSphere Virtual Infrastructure experience is required. Current iSCSI Virtual SAN (HP P4000 Virtual SAN Appliance) experience is required. Google Apps administration experience is required. VOiP telephony experience is desired.
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Supervisory Responsibility: Minimal supervisory responsibility
Budget Administered: $100,000 – 200,000
Responsibilities: All responsibilities will be in line with the Council on Accreditation (COA) Standards.
