Area/Program Focus: Immigration Legal Services
Position Summary: Catholic Charities of the East Bay (CCEB) works with youth, children and families to promote self- sufficiency, strengthen families and purse safety and justice. The Immigration Legal Services Department has provided relief for immigrants and refugees for over 35 years. With a full staff of four attorneys, two Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) accredited representatives, paralegals, law students and support staff in Oakland, Concord, and Richmond, CCEB is one of the largest providers of immigration legal services for low income families in the East Bay.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Legal Services in the oversight and coordination of all legal service program components. This includes the legal services at the Oakland, Richmond, and Concord offices, and the bi-monthly clinics at the Hayward Day labor Center. The Coordinator must have experience providing direct legal services and non-profit program management. This position is also responsible for coordinating outreach, acting as the media liaison, and providing direct client services with a 50% caseload.
