Area / Program Focus: Grants
Position Summary: Every Year, Catholic Charities of the East Bay (CCEB) raises more than $4 million in grants from private and corporate funders and government sources. Our 4-year expansion plan also calls for increased grant revenue, especially from multi-year government grants. The Grants Manager is an integral member of the Grants Team and will have two major responsibilities: First, s/he will support the Director of Grants in the design and management of the annual grant writing plan by providing prospect research and maintaining the proposal calendar and tracking documents. Second, the Grants Manager will oversee post-award grants management and monitoring for all federal, state, city, county, and foundation grants, including reporting. S/he will work with Program Directors, Finance staff, and the Database Manager to ensure contract compliance, accurate budget tracking, and adherence to grant outcomes and deliverables. S/he will gather the necessary information for timely, accurate grant reporting and work with the Grant Writer and program staff to submit reports.
