Area / Program Focus: Grants – Foundations and Government
Position Summary: The Director of Grants directs and coordinates the agency’s process for government and private foundation grant submissions, which support the short and long term agency strategic plans. Working in collaboration with agency and program leadership, the Director performs strategic research to identify likely grant sources, and prepares grants submissions. The Director distributes information internally to agency staff and externally to grant sources in support of grant requirements and coordinates the annual reporting requirements for all executed grant contracts.
The Director of Grants provides leadership and thorough implementation of the accreditation as well as the performance and quality improvement processes within the sphere of leadership. The Director is a member of the Executive Team.
Reports to: CEO
Supervisory Responsibility: Directly – up to 2-3 employees; indirectly – up to 5 volunteers.
Budget Administered: Direct department budget up to $250,000; indirectly, up to $5M
